To be eligible for admission to Mi'kmaw Lodge, prospective clients must meet the following criteria:

• Be of native ancestry.
• Be free from all addictive substances.
• Be sober at least 72 hours.
• Be ambulatory.
• Enter the program voluntarily.
• Have medical clearance from a doctor.
• Must make a commitment to abide by Lodge rules.
• Must help with light housekeeping chores.
