Before we learn how to walk, we must first learn how to fall.

Program Objective

Basically picking up where the Mi'Kmaw Lodge 35-day program leaves off, the Recovery House offers a transitional program to help recovering individuals to continue in a "substance free" state beyond the first stages of treatment. At this point the individual is usually confused, scared and filled with uncertainty. The basic goal of the program, therefore, is to eradicate these psychological barriers and replace them with more positive values so the individual can easily adapt to a new lifestyle.
